I enjoy teaching very much. I think a strength trying to use a student's active content or prior knowledge to connect to material. I have tutored college students while obtaining my BA and my MA in Sociology. I was given the opportunity to tutor when a number of professors asked for my help. As an educator, I strive to improve the student's study habits, test taking skills and overall understanding of the subject. I am patient and encourage questions from the student. Also, I believe that "hands on" practice is the best way to really learn a subject. I like to break things down into smaller parts and let the student practice and grasp each concept instead of just showing them how to do it.
