I have over 20 years experience as a Certified Public Accountant. In addition to that time I have over 10 years with a hedge trading options. I also have a couple of years experience teaching basic accounting and tax courses as an Associate Professor at Longview Community College in the Kansas City area.
I use the basic visual and auditory but the vast majority I use is "Learn by Doing". A hands on approach by the student creates a much higher retention rate in my experience.

I currently hold a 3.95 GPA and am tutoring Intermediate 3 accounting, Accounting Information Systems and Managerial Accounting. I love teaching and helping my fellow students understand the concepts from a real world perspective. I explain that accounting is just another language you have to learn and understand.
