I have over 20 years experience as a Certified Public Accountant. In addition to that time I have over 10 years with a hedge trading options. I also have a couple of years experience teaching basic accounting and tax courses as an Associate Professor at Longview Community College in the Kansas City area.

Learning is a combination of processes, emphasizing what works best. For me, the approach is to use what works best for the student to learn what needs to be learned, with the underlying objective of the student learning how to learn - meaning a self-awareness of what works best for him or her. I believe that students of all levels learn from auditory, visual and hands on experience. Each has their own preference and more often than not, uses at least two types of this knowledge. Allowing students the access of these skills will only increase their ability to thrive. Each student will perform according to their own capability using all of these skills.
