I have a Bachelors Degree in Biology from Providence College and have been looking to get into teaching. I have been a substitute teacher for grades 9-12 since January, 2013. I am also in the process of getting my temporary teaching certificate for the state of Florida in science (grades 6-12). While attending Providence College I have also had several student teaching experiences.

I am receiving my Bachelors in Marine Biology at Rollins College in May 2012. I have had experiences in many different disciplines within Marine Biology. I have worked in a biological stockroom for four years in addition to performing experiments in a lab, so I am very familiar with scientific techniques and equipment. I have taken part in multiple field studies, where I have sampled environments and classified organisms present in that environment. I have also worked on a formal research project at Florida Atlantic University, studying the presence of a parasite in bivalve populations along the Indian River Lagoon.
