Experience Summary
I have over 350 hours of experience working in middle school intensive reading classrooms, 180 hours in a 7th grade science room, completed an internship in a 7th and 8th grade science classroom, and volunteered at Naples Botanical Gardens. Starting in the fall I will be interning full time in a honors marine science class.
Teaching Style
I believe all students are capable of learning. It is the role of the educator to help students identify their strengths and provide them with the tools that will help them integrate new knowledge into existing schemas. I try to integrate metacognitive tools into content teaching to instill life long learning.
