Along with a Bachelor's Degree in Business, I have many educational experiences in the area of science, math, history (to name a few). And in all levels of the educational process; from elementary through high school and even collegiate. My previous experience has included high school students and many college undergrads.
My personal style varies on the pupil. These may vary from simply being frustrated with the curriculum to a myriad of influences. My style is considered out of the box, meaning that if the standard method does not "click" with him/her, then I enjoy finding something of interest to them, to relate that to the subject at hand. Keeping a students interest is paramount to keep them enthusiastic about learning.

In 2006 I taught graphic design topics at Westwood College. In 2007 I taught the same subject at The Creative Circus (roughly equivalent to an MBA program for designers, writers, photographers, and art directors). In 2008 I taught in the design department for Georgia State University. This summer I traveled to a remote region in India to teach English. I have taught GRE prep for the past 3 years, covering the verbal, quantitative (math), and analytical writing (essay) areas. As a test prep teacher, I have a close knowledge of students' approach to graduate school, and the process of improving their chances of acceptance to schools of choice. I believe in basic teaching with practice,and feedback. The differeniation of individual learning styles is always taken into consideration. My primary focus has been on 6th grade math and pre-algebra and having students understand the step-by-step process so they can not only know where the are, but where they are going and where they have been in mathematic skills.
