As an educator, especially in mathematics, I want my students to not just arrive at the right answer, but understand the process, as well. I want students to have a solid foundation in number theory. I also want them to see the connection between the more elementary levels of mathematics and the more abstact higher levels. I usually spend some time and effort working on the organizational skills of the student, especially if I notice a weakness there. Throughout my education, I learned easy ways to teach myself concepts. I have a BS in Biology and a Master’s in Public Administration. These degrees as well as my research experience have taught me analytical and writing skills. I have taken Calculus I, Calculus II, Trigonometry, Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Pre-Calculus and Statistics.
