A Little Bit About Me...

I love teaching, working, and playing with children. I believe that children learn most effectively from using both a hands and minds-on learning/teaching style. As all children come from differing/diverse backgrounds, I utilize communication with both the students and parents in order to effectively teach said child. I believe that all children have the potential for growth and success in the classroom and beyond, if they are given the appropriate tools and encouragement.
I have worked as a pre-school teacher for two years in Syracuse, NY, where I was motivated to enter into the field of education on a permanent basis. I went back to school to attain my masters degree in education in 2008, and finished student teaching in December of 2009.
