I have worked in the lab of a major hospital in Lincoln for 5 years, previous to receiving my degree. I am currently working as a DNA extraction and analysis technician at a genomics lab in Lincoln, NE. Also, I am in the midst of obtaining my Masters Degree in Curriculum Instruction of all Natural Sciences. I will graduate in May with my Masters and my teaching certification. I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in 2008 and am now almost done with my Master's in Biomedical Sciences. I was a laboratory teaching assistant for two years and a math tutor in the Creighton University Math Department for 2 years. I also did some private math tutoring for the undergraduates in Calculus I as well. I am easygoing, but enjoy challenging my students to do well. I always try to be prepared and make sure that I am familiar with the material before any tutoring sessions. I am not concerned with time and feel that if it does take longer than the hour assigned to completely help the student understand the material, then I am more than willing to put in extra time to help them.

I have always been interested in science and using that science to benefit humanity. In college I pursued a bachelor degree in Biology and was president of molecular/mircobiology club and was an anatomy, organic chemistry, and physics tutor.
