A Little Bit About Me...

Since my graduation from Ole Miss in 1985, I have had the delightful experience of teaching children from all walks of MS. The children of MS have a thirst for knowledge that is rarely discussed in the media. Our children want to learn! I've instructed every grade level from K-8, inclusive, tutored Pre-Alg,Alg I, and admin correspondence courses for students who needed a one-on-one teacher. I obtained my Masters from Mississippi State in 2008. I have experience in the diverse ideologies presented in the educational programs of two of the largest universities in MS. Currently, I am enrolled in undergraduate math and English classes to secure additional course hours so that I may hone my skills in this every changing technical world!

A Little Bit About Me...

I love to work with children who are eager to learn. I know that for most children having to study is not their top priority, so I try to make it fun. I am patient, and know that learning often takes repetition. I believe that most children have the power to learn, some just need some one on one attention.
I have just recently graduated with my Masters from Ole Miss. I will begin my PhD in the fall. I have taught Health classes at the University for the past two years. My teaching style varies based on the age of the student. I like to be a little more animated with my k-6 graders. On the other hand, with my 7-12 graders I focus more so on making a connection with the material--showing them how it relates to them.
