Some students need to do. All students need practice and I try to provide them with plenty of practice to ensure that they have mastered the topic. I started teaching in 1989. I have four children of my own and home schooled each one through elementary school and some middle school. They returned to public school for middle school where I then provided tutoring for other classmates. I know sometimes math as well and other subjects come harder for one than the other so I realize the tutoring session needs to be geared toward that particular child. This was while I was a student at Hampden-Sydney College; I worked through the College tutoring Calculus.
