Experience Summary
I have four children of my own and home schooled each one through elementary school and some middle school. They returned to public school for middle school where I then provided tutoring for other classmates. I know sometimes math as well and other subjects come harder for one than the other so I realize the tutoring session needs to be geared toward that particular child.
Teaching Style
I love to teach by using the hands on technique. I will do whatever I can to see that the student grasp what is being taught. It is so neat to watch how sometimes you will see the light flick on and you know they "have it". I also will provide hand outs and use the computer to give them extra practice.
My Hobbies
I work from home doing screen printing and embroidery and some local tutoring. I love helping kids when they are ready to help themselves. I have four children and their ages range from 13-21. I loved teaching them and in all subjects and my passion for helping others continues.
