Leadership and learning are indispensable to each other.

I don't use a lesson plan or guided lessons, I let the kids lead. They usually know what they need help on and if they can figure out what they are having problems with, then everything usually starts making sense. I usually keep my laptop with me, I refer to it if there is something I can't answer or figure out how to start drawing. I don't rely on it, but usually use it as a reference tool.
I've never actually tutored someone, but I am very good at relating with younger kids and High Schoolers. I was in band from 8th grade to 12th grade where I participated in the Front Ensemble section with keyboards, vibraphones, marimbas, xylophones and various other instruments. The best way to describe my teaching style without being technical is to state that at teachers' college, I took the top prize in teaching technique after being observed in the classroom by two university professors. At the university level, I discovered that my classes were always full, and I discovered subsequently through the grapevine that the students were saying that "this guy is really funny; take his class, for you are going to learn through fun."
