My comments on tutoring Geometry : I took Geometry my Sophomore year of high school I received A's and B's for the quarter and a B for the whole year.

My goal is to to break the cycle of rote learning and show my students how a lesson can be applied to real-world knowledge. Understanding "why" helps students enjoy math or, at the very least, dislike it less. I believe Math is just like sports, music or dance: you need to practice to be proficient.
