I plan to double major in mathematics and physics and then transfer to a graduate college, where I will be studying for my masters in engineering. My passion for math comes from my desire to be an engineer in the future, and since then I have disciplined myself to getting good grades in math. In high school, I took every possible math class that was offered and graduated with honors and a 4.9 GPA. As an online graduate at Kaplan University, I quickly became aware of my priorities. Students seeking help often emailed other classmates for assistance. I was often told there were very few students who responded to their emails; however, I was one of them. I earned my Associate degree through Allegany College of Maryland. I enjoyed this area of study so much that I decided to transfer to Kaplan University Online and continue my study in Business Administration with concentration in Accounting. I attended graduation in Chicago, IL, where I learned no matter what obstacles in life you face you can continue your education if your mind is set to do it.
