I have extensive knowledge and specialization in French language and English literature, with previous experience teaching both. I have worked as a teacher of English as a Second Language at two elementary level schools in Paris, France, as a private French tutor, and as an elementary writing/composition tutor. I am currently working on my final year to receive my bachelor's degree at Illinois Wesleyan University. I will adapt my teaching approach based on the needs and learning styles of the student - with language, I favor a practice-based environment, both teaching grammar and theory, but always putting the new skills in to practice with each session.

I have had a passion for education since I was a third grade student. I always thought I wanted to be a teacher "when I grew up." The process of learning has always facinated me. I believe that all individuals regardless of age are able to learn something new everyday.
