I have tutored before, I am currently tutoring kids at my high school everyday in the subject in which they need help in. My goal in tutoring is to not only to have the child succeed in the course but to understand the concept of the course. My style of teaching is different for each child, because everyone does not learn the same way. Some people are visual learners and with them I focus on teaching them with pictures. Attending and graduating from Davidson College, a small liberal arts college in NC, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry was an extremely rewarding experience. I found that the college groomed their students by emphasizing analytical skills--both scientific and literary--and giving back to the community through both service and volunteerism. In public school, the key to teaching success is the ability to motivate students to try their best by learning as much about each individual student as possible and keeping their attention.
