I love making lessons fun and interactive for children. If a children does not understand a concept one way I find other ways to explain it.
When I was in elementary school I would help my mother with daycare at our home. I would teach the children new concepts and play with them. During high school I joined the pathfinder club and taught some of the younger children. During college, I tutored elementary children in reading and in math and would make interventions for them. I graduated from Southern Adventist University December 2018 with a bachelors in elementary education. I have spent time substitute teaching in elementary classrooms, working as a behavior teachers assistant, and working at summer camps.

Laid-back, speech-focused. Although I am an expert and grammar and understanding grammar by relating it to English, I am a firm believer that simply speaking the language using subjects the student is interested in is the best way to learn and retain a language. I am very qualified to prepare the student for an exam, but also prepare them for conversation in Spanish or Italian.
I have taught high school Spanish in a Christian school for 3 years. In college, I traveled to South America 3 times, and returned after graduating to teach in a language institute in Chile. A Little Bit About Me...

The variety of my experience gives me a wonderfully personal approach to each student. I have taught Sunday School to all ages of elementary students and have also helped young children appreciate the wonder of learning as I taught them kindergarten basics. I have taught English as a foreign language to adults and children in both group and individual settings. A Little Bit About Me...

I have earned two BS degrees, one in Chemistry and one in Spanish as well as a Masters of Science in Forensic Science. In addition, I have learned extensive grammatical skills due to writing research papers and laboratory reports, along with essays in many areas. Since high school, I have tutored students in chemistry, Spanish, and mathematics. With my current job, I have gained excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex subjects on a level that an average person can understand.
I enjoy tutoring and mentoring students. It is very rewarding to be able to help a student understand concepts that at first may seem complex. I do not believe negative criticism can help a child learn; I like to encourage students.
