I taught a 4th/5th grade class in the 2006/2007 school year. I graduated with a 3.92 GPA where I excelled as a writer. I currently write the company newsletter at my place of employment. My experience at the community college and public school classroom includes a wide range of diverse teaching experiences from high achieving Japanese to Hispanic low performing students seventh graders I have excelled at teaching all levels of ethnically, academically and physically diverse students. The procedure I follow in tutoring is to first attack is to find out where any understanding difficulty lies. Then, I write the rules out. Next I work 2-3 problems applying the rules as we proceed step by step. Under my tutledge, I have the student work 2-3 problems on their own. When the student can, at least, master the basic problems, then we move on to the next area of difficulty. Every one can succeed at some level.

All students can learn, but in different ways. I, for one, learn best by watching how something is done. I can read about it, or hear a lecture about it, but seeing it helps me understand the subject. This type of teaching would be done with movies, drawing or acting out the situation. In my teaching, I try to use all methods available to me to help the students learn and to use their creativity. I especially try to get students to work in groups and to share their work with each other. I find that pier groups provide the best help in understanding the subject matter. The classroom should be a learning place of activities and fun.
