I have two decades of experience in education. My first 10 years were spent in adult education training adults to work in various organizations in the business world. My last 10 years have been spent in public education classrooms working as a teacher for elementary, middle, and high school students. I have taught core content courses at each level. Therefore, I understand how each grade level builds upon the teaching and learning of the previous grade level.

I have recently earned my associates degree in psychology with Axia College at University of Phoenix. I have been accepted to the University of Phoenix and will be perusing my bachelors degree in psychology. My goal is to attend the University of South Florida's Masters Degree of Counseling program once I have completed my bachelors degree. A Little Bit About Me...

I have been working with children for several years. I started by teaching dance at a local dance studio while I was in high school. It was from this experience that I chose to go to college to become a teacher. I have a degree in Elementary Education and am ESOL certified. I have experience as a substitute teacher and have worked with both elementary and middle school students.

I am most comfortable teaching with prek-5th grade students, because that is my area of expertise. I love teaching these age groups because they are so impressionable and some of them still have that child like innocence that hasn't been stripped from them yet.
