I like to explain and show the student how to complete a problem. I do this 2 more time with different questions and then proceed to see if the student understands how to complete it on his/her own. I am open to most styles of teaching if a preferred style is requested.

I am able to effectively teach a group of kids, and I am also comfortable with the one on one teaching style. Regardless of the environment, I know how to make sure the needs of every student is met.
I have always had the ability to effectively teach my family, peers, and other classmates. However, I recently decided to get into the field of tutoring. I have been tutoring and teaching mathematics up to and including calculus while I was in college to the present day. most students that I have tutored I find to have a minor miss-perception of what they have failed to comprehend. To find these areas of confusion I need to have discussions with the students. These problems are usually easy to overcome once the student is aware of a different perspective. I enjoy helping students overcome these hurdles and go on to succeed in math.
