Sociology is one of my top subjects! I am getting my PhD in the field.

I approach teaching and tutoring the way I approach sociology and human rights—with great enthusiasm and interest. Since my early college years, I felt the intense desire to make an impact in our world by influencing future generations. I wanted to wake up young minds to the multiple injustices taking place in their communities as well as around the world and instill in them the desire to change the world. The middle school, high school and college setting gives me the opportunity to engage the student in a stage of their lives where they are willing to try anything that may broaden their horizons. A Little Bit About Me...

I have worked with children from preschool-12th grade both professionally and personally. I get along well with children, and try to hone in on a child's personality and how they learn best. (Visual, Learning by doing, Verbal) I also try to see what issues the child is having problems with - that could be not understanding what is required, or not having mastered certain skills that are necesary to build on to obtain the next level of achievement.
