My comments on tutoring Musical : 20 years playing and performance experience. Over 10 years teaching experience. Can teach all brass (trumpet, trombone, French horn, baritone/euphonium, tuba) as well as theory and composition.

I believe in tailoring each lesson to each student's individual abilities and learning methods. For students in school bands, I try to provide lessons that augment and complement what they learn in band class, focusing on areas of performance that may not receive attention in a group setting. After graduating from MTSU, I went to Prague, Czech Republic to train and work as a teacher of English as a foreign language. I secured a position at Bell School International. Here I taught mostly adult students but I also had a few high school classes. I found it was more satisfying teaching the younger students and so I looked for work at the elementary level. In college I naturally became the go-to person for help with coursework. My official experience, however, did not come until I was in graduate school.
