My experience has been primarily with children within my school or those around my neighborhood. I find that children are more capable of learning in a stable environment that they are familiar with. Children respond well with well timed incentives and subtle reprimands of lost focus. Students are more likely to acknowledge a lack of concentration skills once their intelligence is put into question. Under my tutoring students are able to concentrate more and see an improvement in their grades. I have always been fascinated with the Spanish language: its phonology, expressions, and many forms of the Spanish language. That love of Spanish caused me to formally study the language, and earn a B.A. and an M.A. in Spanish. My interest in Spanish also took me to Paraguay, and Mexico, where I lived for over three years.
