I have been working with a lawyer in the past five years and I had to deal and talk with people with a high level of education such as lawyers, geometer, architect, the presidents of different banks, business man, investor and any other kind of people related to this kind of level. I have been teaching Italian to other American in Italy and they had good results and they felt comfortable to speak to other people in Italian after a few weeks.
I have a book with me from English to Italian and you will use that during the period that we are together but I will mostly speak in Italian and English when needed. I think that speak and listen and have exercise just in the language you want to learn is the best way to do it.

A Little Bit About Me...

During my undergraduate years, I started tutoring at the various tutoring centers on campus. I tutored science, mathematics, French, Spanish and Italian. That experience sparked my interest in teaching. At the end of my undergraduate studies, I applied and received the teaching opportunity program scholarship. I think it's important to approach foreign language practically, so that people can learn basic communication skills without necessarily knowing all of the grammar. While I do think that grammar is important to adult language learning, it takes time and should not overshadow learning how to speak.
