This experience allowed me to work with severely disabled peers learning functional skills for independence. I have taught fourth grade for four years. In my second year there, I currently am in charge of the fifth grade team of 13 teachers for Tennessee Virtual Academy, a public online school. I believe in good classroom management and organized lesson plans. I set appropriate boundaries and expect the students to follow the rules that are set before them. That being said I try to make the learning as fun as possible but organized. I also try to bring in anything that they are interested in to make them enjoy the subject they are learning.
