I am an encourager by nature, build individuals and enjoy teaching. The civil engineering program that I successfully completed into a 4 year BS degree, was math and science intensive, with about half the courses requiring laboratory work. My highest math course was in differential equations, also I completed physics, chemistry, and electrical course material. I have had 9 years experience as either field engineer or construction superintnedent. Writing reports, conducting training and development seminars was a standard part of either job, whether the subject was construction means and methods, safety concerns or design changes. Communicating, informing, instructing and guiding were mandatory capabilites. If I were to sum my "style" of teaching up, it would be "patience with determination". I have earned two bachelor degrees, a BS in Information Science and a BA in Political Science. My graduate work is in Policy and Management from the College of Information at the Florida State University. I have been a substitute teacher for Hillsborough County, Florida and a fulltime substitute for Pasco County, Florida.
