My teaching style is to draw connections to what the students are trying to learn with what is happening today that they might be interested. When I am able I like to show them where the event happened [if it is history] so that the student does not just hear names and dates but can picture it in their head. As someone who loves history I discovered my passion for helping others understand history. Because of this love I pursued a degree in museum studies. I have over 6 years experience in volunteering my time at history museums in order to educate today's youth about the past.
