Experience Summary
I am an alumni of Alfred University, with my Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology, concentration in clinical/counseling. For the past two years, I have been a graduate student in the Criminology Department of Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I have extensive field experience with mental health consumers, minority and criminal populations. I am dedicated to stength-based plans for overcoming barriers to success. My experience also shows a proven commitment to helping others succeed. I am adept at multi-tasking, having had to assess situations and initiate quick resolutions. My past employment was impingement on coordinating consumers and service providers, honing my ability to relate to a wide variety of individuals.
Teaching Style
I believe that teaching needs to be tailored to the student. We all possess the ability to learn; sometimes we just need guidance in "how" to learn. I am dedicated to finding that "how" with the student, and translating that into an atmosphere where the student will succeed. I am creative, energetic, and love to make learning fun. I will use every resource possible, in order to make the most of each student's learning.
