As an Application Engineer for a research company, it was my resposaability to train, instruct and give seminars on the material currently in vogue in Semiconductor, Biology, Physics, and Geology in materials to be analyzed. These seminars were meant to instruct and inform researchers of the techniques available. Most seminars were at colleges and universities in the U.S. and overseas. My style is to teach a concept during the one on one session with me. I then give them homework to reinforce the learning on personal time. In the following meeting I revise what we learnt in previous session to ensure they understood before proceeding to next topic. I work with students with different learning styles (pictures, words and numbers) and will adapt to their needs. I am patient and will explain numerous times, in different ways, to ensure learning.
