My certificate enabled me to teach any secondary school science class. I've had one formal year of education in programming at College of the Redwoods. The first semester course I took was intro to C++, and the second semester course was C++ with Data Structures. At HSU I studied extensively in the field of education; cumulating in writing and presenting lessons to students at Eureka High. Currently, I have been studying C# and writing small applications in my spare time. In addition, I have been programming a microcontroller in pBASIC via a serial cable. I would seek to emulate the university style of lecture and assigning hands on projects. I believe this is the most effective model since it provides repetition, allowing the student to better memorize the material.
