I have tutored many people of various ages, past students have been as young as 5 and as old as 17. I am 18 years old but am highly skilled in the area of mathematics having taken 8 math classes above Algebra 1. I like to teach and I also like to hear how people learn. I feel it is important to teach methods for how to obtain a solution and not rely on rot memorization of facts and equations. As a graduate student I taught an undergraduate engineering lab course for a semester, and spend 2-3 additional semesters grading tests and assignments for various undergraduate level courses in mechanical engineering. In addition, I also worked as a tutor during my senior year in high school, as well as at various times while an undergraduate student in college.
