Teaching is the most rewarding job there is to offer. I enjoy teaching all types of children in a variety of subjects. It is my belief that all children can learn. It is finding how a child learns is the key to a childs success in school. I am a high structured teacher that has the patience and willingness to find what it takes for a student to learn. A Little Bit About Me...

Teaching is the greatest job I have ever had. I have never felt more rewarded than when teaching a child or adult something new or explaining a concept to them that is difficult. To see satisfaction on their faces is pure joy. From my previous tutoring and teaching experience I have learned to be patient but strong. I like to use creative methods to get children to think outside the box.
My tutoring began while I was studying at Montana State University. My Junior year I enrolled in a class that was based around community service and my role was tutoring middle school aged children. A Little Bit About Me...

I have a bachelor's degree in Specaial and Elementary education and have completed 45+ continuing credit hours. Many of the credit hours that I have accumulated have been in refining my teaching skills in mathematics, reading, and writing. I have 11 years of teaching experience in public schools. My experience has been mostly with primary-aged children, though I have taught children through sixth grade. A Little Bit About Me...

As I think of my life without teaching, I cannot imagine what else I would be doing. I believe that children learn in a variety of ways. Some through listening, some through reading or watching, and some through doing. My goal is to find the way that works for each child and use that method to help them on their way to reaching their full potential.
I graduated from the University of Wyoming within 3 1/2 years and student taught in first grade. Since then, I have been teaching in several preschool programs and spent part of one year as a long term substitute for a Title 1 program. This position enabled me to spend extra time and gain experience in the Guided Reading program.
