Very much based on working with what the student knows. I tend to start by having them explain to me what they are doing and what they think. I then provide some guidance and walk through a sample problem with them. I ask that they try another problem like it on their own and ask questions to prompt them as they work.
I started tutoring in high school for extra credit. I have primarily tutored in mathematics and general chemistry! My comments on tutoring Pre-Algebra : I am taking technical math in college. Algebra knowledge is required for technical math.

I was born in the upper west side of Mexico City in 1996. I attended a private bilingual school (Colegio Cumbres) from kindergarten to my junior year. While I was attending high school in Mexico, I also took two courses a literature course and a course in reading comprehension and writing composition proficiency given by UAEM (Universidad Autonoma del Estado de Mexico). A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style revolves around how the child learns. I adapt my lesson's around how the child will be able to best learn the material. I want to see them grow and develop as much as they can.
I am now a teacher at a private school in Monona. I help aid a Preschool classroom and have my own classroom in the afternoon for students age four. I also run an after school program once the school day is done with and that incorporates 4 year-olds to seventh graders. I help students out with homework during that time.
