I started tutoring in high school for extra credit. I have primarily tutored in mathematics and general chemistry! I tutored a girl in Algebra 1 for a year, helped my best friend and her Mom with college mathematics, and worked through college algebra with my husband. In college I was a teachers assistant for general chemistry 1 and tutored in quantitative chemical analysis. Since then I have tutored a gentlemen for the math portion of his GED. Basically, I love the one-on-one opportunity to help people to find that "light-bulb moment" where the math and science is no longer torture, but instead it makes sense! :)

My comments on tutoring Pre-Algebra : I am taking technical math in college. Algebra knowledge is required for technical math.

I was born in the upper west side of Mexico City in 1996. I attended a private bilingual school (Colegio Cumbres) from kindergarten to my junior year. While I was attending high school in Mexico, I also took two courses a literature course and a course in reading comprehension and writing composition proficiency given by UAEM (Universidad Autonoma del Estado de Mexico). I also earned some extra cash when I decided to become an English to Spanish and Spanish to English translator. I took this job as an independent translator.
