Public Relations is one of my top subjects!

I majored in Journalism and minored in American History in college. Since then, I have worked in every aspect of journalism: TV and radio, public relations and marketing, newspaper reporting, magazine editing, advertising, direct mail, and websites. Most recently I received certification in Social Media and e-Marketing through the Chicago Career Tech Program and Tribeca Flashpoint Academy. In terms of teaching, I have tutored English to H'mong refugees and taught religious education in primary grades. I raised one son, who recently finished his master's degree in telecommunications. As a magazine editor, I also have trained and supervised writers, designers and photographers across the country, leading them to to 34 awards in national competition.

A Little Bit About Me...

One place I belong is teaching and working with children. Anyone that knows me and that has worked with me would probably say that. I don't teach right now due to a desire to develop a real estate career so that I can end up in the classroom. Having said that, I really enjoy teaching.
