A Little Bit About Me...

I like to teach students from high school level to graduate level. Each student has a different level of understanding and interest for a given subject. Thus it is imperative that my teachings should have the ability to steer anyone’s brain that I am tutoring. A Little Bit About Me...

From my experience working for the Supplemental Instruction Program, my teaching style revolves around an interactive approach that emphasizes participation. While in class, students are often expected to absorb information like a sponge from lectures. However, I believe that by structuring tutoring sessions in a way that encourage the student to come to the correct answers with help, rather than to be lectured at, is an overall more effective way to improve comprehension and retention of information.
