A Little Bit About Me...

I like to teach students from high school level to graduate level. Each student has a different level of understanding and interest for a given subject. Thus it is imperative that my teachings should have the ability to steer anyone’s brain that I am tutoring. A Little Bit About Me...

I obtained a strong liberal arts education where I was able to experience and learn about a wide range of academic topics. However, I have a strong focus and specialization in the sciences with a BA in both Biology and Chemistry with a Mathematics minor. Math and science has been a strong area of mine, as I was a Supplemental Instructor for a genetics course for two semesters, as well as being a Laboratory Assistant that assisted students with questions or problems during genetics laboratory. I recently graduated Cum Laude from DePaul University in June of 2010 with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. In my last year there I worked as a Supplemental Instruction Leader/Tutor for freshman students in general biology courses which had me sitting in on classes with them and leading interactive group study sessions.
