A Little Bit About Me...

While working with an adult native Spanish speaker to improve her English was certainly rewarding, my desire has always been to work with children or adolescents, as I feel that they are more amenable to an educational program and have a greater learning capacity when given the proper opportunities. My teaching style is one of constant progression, in which the student's strengths and weaknesses are weighed and an appropriate lesson plan formed based on his/her abilities. This lesson plan can be subject to change based upon rapid progression or extended difficulties in a subject, and I also take into account each student’s distinct learning style. I have peer tutoring experience with friends and class mates in college. I have have a BS in Biology and Pre-Dental Prep. I finished with a major GPA of 3.7 and overall GPA of 3.3. I am a huge fan of the sciences, and enjoy keeping up to date on that knowledge. I currently work in a sales role that requires me to call on "C" level executives in Indianapolis.
While in college I took every opportunity to help friends and classmates. I enjoy understanding a subject and then helping another understand it as well. Everyone learns differently, and it takes relating each persons style to that subject. I feel most people enjoy learning as long as they can avoid becoming frustrated.
