I find in counseling I have to lead people to come up with their own solutions without telling them the answer. This involves showing them how to get there and teaching them the skills. If any of my friends or coworkers would describe me it would be as a patient person. I think it takes a lot of patience to tutor especially if the student is having trouble grasping a concept. You have to be creative in how you explain it to them. Everyone has a different learning style whether it is audio or visual. A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching experience came from tutoring at Alkebulan Village for the last two years. I tutored high school students at different levels of math such as Pre-Algebra, Algebra (I & II), Geometry, Precalculus. I also prepared the student for the ACT exam. While I was in college, I also tutored many students in calculus (I, II & III), Differential Equations, Linear Equations, C++, and Microsoft office words, and excel.
I love teaching and it is my favorite thing to do. I been told by every student I help or tutored that I am one of the best teacher they ever had. My style is to challenge and bring the best of every student. I make my lesson an open discussion between me and the students and I found that to be the best and fastest way from them to learn. I also make them relate math to the real world and I was always able to come with very creative examples.
