Exciting and effective tutoring available!

I am able to effectively teach a group of kids, and I am also comfortable with the one on one teaching style. Regardless of the environment, I know how to make sure the needs of every student is met.
I have always had the ability to effectively teach my family, peers, and other classmates. However, I recently decided to get into the field of tutoring. A Little Bit About Me...

I like to make learning fun by teaching according to what my students like. For instance, with the little girl I tutored, I knew that she was a visual learner and that she loved art and music so I gave her a mnemonic device in a form a song she liked to help her remember verb conjugations. I also made flashcards for her to remember fruits and vegetables as well as articles of clothing. Have fun while learning!

I teach with the multiple intelligence approach. Every child has a special way that they learn whether it be spatial, linguistic, mathematical, kinesthetic, musical, intra/interpersonal, or a naturalist, the way they learn is the key to success. Unlocking each students giftedness makes learning fun and exciting. For instance, a kinesthetic learner would learn their spelling words best by jumping rope while spelling the words. Or a spatial person would learn them best by painting the words on chart paper or drawing them in different colors with chalk on the pavement.
