I worked for two years as a tutor at the Augusta State University Writing Center, tutoring all manner of students, from ESL to graduate students. My tutoring style is somewhat laid-back with serious undertones. I feel the best way to learn is to not have information force fed, but to allow the individual to glean knowledge and come to an understanding of the subject gradually.
