My experiences have given me opportunity to teach/tutor students of different ages, ethnicities, and socio-economic statuses. At all levels, however, I have realized that all students are capable of success. The key to being an effective teacher/tutor is finding a way to engage the student so that they are active in the learning process. Because I work with students from such varied backgrounds, I believe that the best method is one that allows for flexibility and at the same time incorporates lessons from several fields at once.
