As a teacher/tutor, I find that being a good listener and paying attention to students needs creates a successful learning environment. Every child acquires information differently and their ways of learning should be respected. By creating lessons based on exciting, "real world" applications, students are more accepting to the content at hand.
I graduated from Florida State University in 2004 with a B.A. in Spanish and Italian with a minor in French. Throughout my undergraduate years, I knew that educating youth was something I was very passionate about so I made sure to not ignore my passion. A Little Bit About Me...

When I was in high school I excelled in math, particularly in Geometry. I assisted my father in tutoring a great deal of his clients. Once I graduated high school I pursued tutoring in Tallahassee where I attend college. I started off as an afterschool counselor for Belle Vue Middle School but my job soon turned into a teacher's assistant position because of my natural teaching abilities. Everyday after school I would be assigned to 20-30 students to assist with homework and other school assignments.
