A Little Bit About Me...

I am a high school student living in Madison AL, 35758. I am sixteen (16) years old I have passed Algebra 2 w/Trig and any lower math i will be able to teach. I am skilled in teaching C and C++ programming having taken multiple classes passing with an A average. I am also a JROTC student and have taken the ASVAB, scoring an 85. I can help with all section except engineering and science. I have taught my younger brother and his friends along with other high school students. I think educators must take into account the different ways in which students learn. For instance, I've noticed that math students may have difficulty adding and subtracting fractions, but have no trouble whatsoever when I ask about dimes and quarters. If an instructor can build a bridge between new material and material the student has already mastered, the student's retention can significantly improve. By getting to know the interests and knowledge of each, I hope to discover bridges that will make learning an exciting and enjoyable process.
