While in High School and College, I worked with students in Madison at Whitehorse Middle School on Video Editing, PC Repair, Postmodernism, and Music. I am a friendly and easy to talk to person. I strive to make my tutoring and mentoring sessions into conversations rather than a one-way lecture. When tutoring or mentoring, I usually let the student lead the session so that I can assess where his or her strengths and weaknesses lie. I like to let them take the initiative because it actively engages them in the learning process versus passively listening to me. I also like to break down concepts to the basics and share my own tips on how to remember and understand these concepts.
