My comments on tutoring Sculpting : I have a degree in studio art and art history.

I like a very engaging style of teaching, using visuals or work sheets, charts, or picture to have hands on to help the participant learn. I am incredibly energetic when it comes to learning and want those I tutor and teach to succeed and enjoy the process of learning.
While in university I studied art history, studio art, and international relations. I was a teaching assistant for many art history classes, including renaissance, modern, and post modern art. I also was a teaching assistant for several studio art classes including drawing, photography, and silk screen. I also sturdied international relations in university, with an emphasis on the Middle East and Europe, particularly Cold War and terrorism. It is important to teach children with appropriate strategies and techniques to maximize their success. I use visual aids to make the lesson interesting. I teach with Orton Gillingham approach, multi-sensory and kinesthetic style.
I have B.Sc. in Fine Arts with a minor in Special Education from Texas Women's University; a B.F.A in Graphic Design from the University of Kansas; and M.F.A in Painting and Textiles from Texas Women's University. I have a Teacher's Certificate in Elementary Education from Kenya.. I had enrolled in classes toward LD Licensure and have completed the coursework at Greenhills for the Associate level membership in AOGPE. I have taught at Greenhills for sixteen years.
