It is important to teach children with appropriate strategies and techniques to maximize their success. I use visual aids to make the lesson interesting. I teach with Orton Gillingham approach, multi-sensory and kinesthetic style.
I have B.Sc. in Fine Arts with a minor in Special Education from Texas Women's University; a B.F.A in Graphic Design from the University of Kansas; and M.F.A in Painting and Textiles from Texas Women's University. I have a Teacher's Certificate in Elementary Education from Kenya.. I had enrolled in classes toward LD Licensure and have completed the coursework at Greenhills for the Associate level membership in AOGPE. I have taught at Greenhills for sixteen years. My comments on tutoring Sculpting : I have a degree in studio art and art history.

I like a very engaging style of teaching, using visuals or work sheets, charts, or picture to have hands on to help the participant learn. I am incredibly energetic when it comes to learning and want those I tutor and teach to succeed and enjoy the process of learning.
While in university I studied art history, studio art, and international relations. I was a teaching assistant for many art history classes, including renaissance, modern, and post modern art.
