While some teachers favor a direct instruction approach, I try to tailor my instruction to the growing and diverse needs of each student. Besides my formal education, I have helped many people while working for Disabled Student Services at Florida Community College at Jacksonville. I helped my blind boss understand the needs of her deaf students. I helped a disabled boy with Algebra and I helped my mom with her math when she went back to college.
