GED is one of my top subjects! I have over 2 years of experience in teaching GED level classes. I have worked with adults of all ages and have taught students who were able to obtain there GED. My experience as an instructor was with Wiregrass Technical College (formerly Valdosta Technical College).

I have worked with companies whose major focus was to increase math and science scores. I have found visual aids are an effective way to teach math and other subjects. Because my educational background is mathematically and science based, most of my tutoring experiences are in the subjects of math and science. However, I do have experience tutoring students in all subjects. In addition to this, I have over 2 years of experience in teaching GED level classes. I have worked with adults of all ages and have helped students obtain their GED. My experience as an instructor was with Wiregrass Technical College (formerly Valdosta Technical College). Teaching experience at the University of Iowa as a graduate instructor for undergraduate Management courses. My teaching style is based on the student’s learning style. Each child is different and may require different teaching methods to facilitate learning. Some children are more visual and may require more interactive exercises to learn. I do not believe in spoon-feeding information to children but taking the time to ensure that they fully grasped the concept of a problem and are able to think through a solution on their own. I will work to develop their critical thinking skills and will challenge them, so that they are not just passive learners but active participants in the cognitive process.
